Produce Prescription Program
A simple way to turn fresh produce into better health, one visit at a time.
Desert Mission’s Produce Prescription Program helps connect people living with chronic health conditions to fresh, nutritious food.
Through this program, HonorHealth clinicians can prescribe fruits and vegetables to eligible participants. Those enrolled receive a $50 monthly voucher for six months, which can be used at Desert Mission Mobile Farm Stands across the community.
What to expect
At each visit, you’ll:
- Choose the fresh produce you'd like
- Use your voucher at checkout
- Receive an update on how much of your monthly balance remains

Program details
How long is the program?
The program runs for six months. We encourage participants to stay for the full duration, but should your circumstances change, please let us know.
How often can I visit?
You can visit the Mobile Farm Stand as often as you’d like each month, provided you have funds remaining on your voucher.
Does my voucher balance roll over?
No, vouchers reset each month. Unused funds will not carry over to the following months.
